I would hate to lose the jailbreak, but like most have said the stock iPhone 4 is still a superb handset straight out of the box and it appears every generation of iPhone gets better, so I probably would stick.

Plus right now those jumbo Androids arent appealing to me, functionality wise and looks.

No unlock would be ok. If I buy a subsidised phone, and therefore pay less it is only fair to not unlock it.
However Jailbreaking is my right ! I own the phone and my doing so does not dmage the carrier who invested money in my phone to have me on contract for a period of time.

I would still keep my iPhone for sure. I would miss some of my Cydia add ons but I thankfully try to keep my add ons minimal and stick with the ones i use everyday. I would miss my tlert and sb settings (especially to remove all backrounding apps) and Mywi (which will probably be replaced by hotspot anyway).

To me that are things that make the phone more fun, I have lots of non JB apps i couldn't live without.
