I had an Iphone 4 that I had jailbroken with Limera1n, it was perfect. I upgraded to 4.2.1 to check out the new update then re-jailbroke with Redsn0w and that is when things got bad. My phone was stuck on the Itunes screen and nothing I did seemed to work. Since then I was lucky to have AT&T swap the phone out for me so I upgraded to the 32gb model. My question is, this Iphone is on the 4.1 can I still use Limera1n or Greenpois0n to jailbreak it? I am just a little worried after what happened using Redsn0w. Thanks for the help on this in advance.

If the phone they gave you is on 4.1 you can jailbreak with limera1n or greenpois0n.

I just wanted to make sure nothing has changed, having that phone freeze up on me kind of scared me away from fooling with it anymore. Thanks

Most likely the reason it was stuck on the iTunes logo when you had the phone with 4.2.1 is because you weren't booting the phone in a tethered state.
