In need of some advice!

I currently own a iPhone 4 which I really enjoy. That being said I am considering jailbreaking the phone to add additional features. That being said I am looking for one main feature; the ability to upload documents from the phone to a University website. I was able to do so through my old Blackberry but, with the file system locked am not currently able to do so. Has anyone tried to upload a document and if so what is solution? Thanks in advance!
