    I got a new iPad today and do not have a shsh on file. What do I need to do to prepare for a JB?

    I would like to at least get 4.0 on it soon. Any suggestions?

    Well there is no 4.0. I would download TU immediately and get 3.2.2 and 4.2b3 blobs while they are available for your iPad just incase you need them.
