Hi All, need some help. Unfortunately I don't have wifi access in my new apartment. I've seen that MyWi is available and looks like it would do the trick so that I can get wifi for my mackbook & ps3 using my iPhone4. Would like to know if this is the best app to use and more importantly, will this use & consume my 2gb data plan?? Thanks in advance.
Mywi works great for browsing but I have agree that would be too slow for your ps3. Be careful with the data if you try it out (there is a 3 day trial btw) I usually use 5-7 gigs using it with my laptop.
yea i also agree, I think Mywi works great if your traveling in a car or something surfing the web or even watching a movie from netflix on my laptop or ipad. but i think thats as far as u can go. Its not as fast as cable, but it is really convenient to be able to have web access pretty much anywhere u have cell service.
