iphone 4 - Camera, software, fix, help!!!

i realized my iphone stock camera app always opens to video recording mode. its so frustrating! i want it to open to regular camera mode like its supposed to. i think something happened software wise through cydia that did that to it and i really want to get it fixed without a restore. uninstalling the apps doesnt seem to help me out much, neither does a hard reset. i think it had something to do with fastsnap app.

anyway.
please please please help
i JUST got my new iphone 4 perfect (other than the obvious). i really don't want to restore it.

Man, I've had similar things happen with a jailbroken phone. Sometimes an app will break a setting, or in some cases, brick the phone. Sometimes it's the jailbreak itself that "breaks" a feature.

Somebody else may come along and give you better advice but you either live with it or restore as new and re-jailbreak.
