Limera1n ios 4.02 discussion

There are really little info about on 4.02 jailbreak as most people would upgrade to 4.1. However 4.1 are not without issues. Bear in mind this is not
about 4.02 vs 4.1.

So I hope this thread could shed more light on those still holding on to 4.02
Please share your pre and post jailbreak experience!
Some areas of discussion

-battery
-apps compatibility
-apps to avoid
-preferred jailbreak method
-other possibilities after jailbreak.

I have a 4.02 and great battery life with it.

There were lots of people complaining of fast battery drain after jailbreaking using Limera1n. Any definite fix or is it part of the jailbreak bug?

Folks at 4.02 to 4.1 using TU...take note!

Removing TU fixes it! Now I didn't know that it works this way!

"I completely removed TU from my computer, and it finally restored all the way. I didn't know that just having it on my computer was affecting things as well."

Problem
-iphone 4 version 4.0.2 baseband 1.59.00
-restore 4.1 without loosing my baseband
-icon for cydia was white not the regular pic
-after reboot only wallpaper no icons please help!!

Solution-
-to do all again but always keep the phone connected to itunes. the icons are back .
