Status bar is solid black!! Help!

Hey Guys! I've got a problem!

I've got an iPhone 3G, JailBroken on iOS 4.0.1, and have wallpapers, but my status bar is solid black and I want it transparent!

I've tried the Transparent Status Bar by ModMyi and that doesn't work, why? How can I get the transparent status bar?

What theme are you using? Thats exactly what I am looking for. I want my status bar to stay black throughout anny app.

Im not using any theme , just a wallpaper with winterboard
