Hi guys, I was not able to find the answer to this question so I'm posting it here.
I have a *factory (Apple) unlocked* 3GS (3.1.2) that I would like to upgrade to iOS 4.x However, I am concerned that if it has been previously jailbroken that doing so in the normal iTunes fashion might result in a brick.
How can I tell if my phone has been previously jailbroken? There are no unofficial apps on it to indicate that this was done - but they could have been deleted.
I don't actually care if it is jailbroken (I don't use any unofficial apps), I only care that I can continue to upgrade it in the normal fashion without ruining it.
All comments are welcome.
