Contacts Back-up/Restore

I've got over 300 photos attached to various Contact records, and lots of different ringtones assigned, too. If I decide to get the next Gen iPhone, will these settings (photos and ringtones per contact record) be transferred to the new phone, or do I have to re-assign them all again?

I've been using iDrive Lite and Cambio for monthly Contacts back-up but, since I have not had to perform a Contacts restore, I don't know if either app will do the trick with photos/ringtones. I know I can also use Outlook for back-up, but will that solve this problem?

I don't know about iDrive or Cambio, but syncing to itunes, Outlook, or Google will do it.

Have you actually done this yourself and had the contacts restored with their photos and ringtones intact?

I have all my contacts, pics and all, sync with my outlook and every time I've restored they come back.
