Overclocking!

Found this post on easy overclocking jailbroken iPhones: HowTo Overclock iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS CPU

Clocks the 2g&3g to 600 MHz and the gs to 833!
Anybody try it yet?

I won't do it as it could fry ur iPhone by overheating. It gets hot enough now without overclocking, plus the battery life is already horrible, can only imagine what it will be by overclocking. I think I'll pass on this trick and let someone else be the ginnea pig

I would only attempt this if I had an old iPhone laying around. Since I don't, I won't.

I actually just paid $2 for an app called "Supercharged", available on MacCiti in *.deb format.

I've heard AMAZING THINGS ABOUT THIS, and it isn't a permenant tweak. If you don't like this file, you can restore and it will be as if brand new.
