Two Jailbreaking questions

Ok, interested in JB my iPhone 3G with Spirit.

First off, can the 3G (not 3GS) handle it? I want to use multitasking more than any thing else. Or is it going to be so slow I'll want to through it through a window?

Second question, I use Outlook Exchange sync with my work over the air. Will JB do any thing to stop that? I use it for email and calendar info.

Yes it will work with your 3g. It wont be bad as far as speed goes. Just don't multitask too many apps at once.

Your Exchange sync will be fine. I sync with my Exchange network and have no issues.

Just to add....I find that I can multitask very well with apps that don't use a lot of memory. However, if I try to multitask with some of the more memory intensive apps, the phone does get sluggish. Sometimes apps running in the background will unknowingly close by themselves.

But don't let the negatives get you down. There are so many advantages to jailbreaking. Give it a try. Just remember to backup your phone before any attempt.
