Nope. Read the link inside the post. One of the first things they said was that they've revealed nothing to  Apple.

is this really worth it at this point? Isn't it still really buggy and no programs besides stock Apple programs are written to be multi-tasked yet...

If you read the redsn0w wiki you'll see the purpose of the release is to let jailbreak application developers test and fix their applications. There are a LOT that are currently broken.

Who's smarter? That would be the hackers. Obviously.

 Apple has a MASSIVE TEAM of developers who create this. They do it in such a way that it's supposed to be unhackible because they try to prevent jailbreaking.

Then there are a handful of hackers, who take that code, and manipulate it any way they want to.

That handful out thinks a team of thousands EVERY SINGLE FIRMWARE release.

Who gives a sh!t who makes more money? Congrats,  Apple, you make more money. But the hackers will still rape your code.

All these companies need to realize, it doesn't matter how much security you put into a piece of software or hardware.. someone, somewhere will hack it, break into it, or make it bend to their will.

Remember when they said WEP was unhackable? It took "them" what, 3 hours?

Adobe Photoshop CS4 = Serials are uncrackable! (Search isohunt or whatever and you'll find tons of copies with hacked keys)

Windows Vista = Most secure version of windows.. hacked BEFORE it was released..

Just a few examples - stop trying to prevent people from using jailbroken apps, and listen to what they want. If it's that big of a deal that developers are making money off of it, shouldn't Apple listen and realize "****, these guys are making money, why aren't we developing an app that does that?"

Actually, to crack the Adobe apps all you have to do is edit the same file that Saurik needs you to in order to allow Cydia to restore your iPhone. :x

with that you get full activation, everything.

    Just sayin'...

I remember hearing something once "If it's made by a human it can be broken by a human" and this is what applies. However I think we need to understand Apple will not relax and let the OS be open to any and all things because all the threads you see in the Jailbreak forums about crashing, freezing, etc. would become everyday problems and Apple would have to support it. We should be glad they aren't plugging up the exploits because we're the ones benefitting from them when we JB.
