How to find shsh

Ok I had to send my 3gs off and it was just a batt but apple instead of fixing mine sent me a brand new phone or refurb so I restored it and it has my fakecarrier name on it and my jb wallpaper and tethering option that I had but that went away I know that makes no sense but it's true can anybody refer me to a tread or link to check the shsh to c if this phone has it saved to downgrade I'm missing my jb

Wow, so hard to read without periods.

There's a program called firmware umbrella. You can download that, type in your ECID and it will check to see if your SHSH's are on Cydia. Your phone is likely not a refurb and you will likely not have saved SHSH's.

ok got the firmware umbrella now how in the crap do i use it? im on windows vista so if anyone could help me out w this again it would b appreciated
