iphone 3G 8 GB locked

my 3G (8GB) iphone locked bcz i have downloaded newer software in it which is used for 3GS iphone. What I can do to reverse the previous software which is made for 3G (8 GB) iphone and unclok too. thanks

Unlock to use on another carrier? You can't downgrade the firmware. You're stuck.

you installed software for the 3gs? I don't believe this happened. the phone should check for this
