So, basically. I've been able to boot my phone using BLackra1n.exe.
But now all of a sudden it stopped working, can't boot my phone anymore using blackra1n.exe.

When i try to start it, it just freezes at the Geohot face, and after a while the white spinning wheel comes up, and that aswell gets frozen. After 5 minutes or so the phone reboots.thi

Tried so far.

* Disabled all iTunes processes running in the background, iniecluding all iPod services and anything made by apple for that matter.
* Tried with both iTunes 8 and 9 series.
* Tried on Win XP, Win Vista and Mac OS
* Tried flipping the silent mode button. Didn't change a thing. :D
* Tried about 50 times or so. Always freezes at Geohots face.

Anyone got any ideas on how to solve the problem?
I do NOT want to restore if it's not the ONLY solution that's available.

Thank you in advance.

DFU RESTORE

Try the steps listed below, but make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of iTunes before attempting to do this.

Put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac or PC.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds, release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until iTunes pops up with a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

The iPhone screen will remain black.

NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

Step Four
Download from iTunes and install the latest firmware (3.1.2/7D11) and install it. Then, when it's done, simply either restore it from a previously created backup, or set it up as a new iPhone and re-sync all of your stuff back onto it.

Yeap, yeap. Problem is, latest backup is from like 2 weeks ago, and i bought a new CPU, motherboard, GFX and memories. So i'm most likely forced to reinstall Windows.

That's why i'm asking for a solution to this little problem.
I do have SHSH files for 3.1.2, but i'd like to boot the phone without restoring it.

Any suggestions on how to do this?
