iphone 3gs NEED HELP

I just bought my iphone 3gs 16 gb and I have windows 7 ultimate edition. I tried many times to jailbreak the iphone and each time making stupid mistakes I failed. I finally tried redsNow and I thought I had successfully jailbroken my iphone when it said it was waiting for reboot and froze there. So i manually rebooted which caused my iphoen to be stuck in recvoery mode. I have no idea what to do and I cant get to the home screen, I know I am a noob, but please help me.

btw itunes can not detect my iphone as well

Since it's in recovery mode, you may as well do a restore, cause it's the only way to answer the questions we need answered in order to help you further. What firmware version is on your iPhone? Did you purchase it new from Apple? Did you buy it used?

I bought it new, it is firmware 3.1.2, and itunes cannot detect the iphone so I do not know how to restore it.

I have figured out the solution. Apparently the USB ports of my computers were messed up somehow.
