I want to give my daughter my 3g Iphone will it work with her sim card from her carrier T-Mobile from her blackberry she does not have a data plan with tmobile. Any suggestions or information would help. Thanks

What OS is the iPhone running ? It will need to be unlocked and yes she will need a data plan.

its Jailbroken so why can't she just use her sim card from tmobile to make calls and text that's it no internet or data how about if i turn off the 3g?

oh and only 2g will work 3g data will not work with tmobile and the iphone

are you also unlocked or just jailbroken? they're different things.

you can't use the sim card because by default the phone is locked to AT&T sim cards.
