3GS I assume, yes? You should be able to jailbreak it using Redsn0w but it will be a thethered jailbreak. Not sure about the unlocking part as I haven't done it but I believe there is a solution using Blacksn0w. This is dependent on the baseband which I assume is 05.11.07 on your phone.

yes you can jb and unlock it using blackra1n as long as you have 3.1.2 and NOT the 3.1.3 version

yes,my baseband is 05.11.07 and it is the 32gs,
By the Device instance id that I post, is it the new bootrom?
The main thing for me is to be able to unblok it since I will need to use it in another country.
I still have 25 days before I can return back the Iphone
