Unlock without Jailbreaking

The whole point to jailbreaking is so you can unlock your iPhone, so no you cant. Jailbreaking is simple why would you not want to do it?

I wouldn't want to jailbreak it to avoid the tethered jailbreak, I just hate that every single restart I have to plug it to the PC
