Does anyone know of an app that will allow Status bar notifications for new email, voicemail etc, but NOT LockInfo?

I want something that will just show an icon per se' on the status bar at the top of the iPhone, with the alarm icon shows.

Any ideas?

Not sure what you are asking. I use StatusNotification but that may not be helpful. I am sure you have tried that.

Thanks for the info. I'm still new to this whole 'editing of the iPhone'. I am an ex-BlackBerry hacker

Anyway, I installed StatusNotifier, as someone else suggested. But, for some reason it works, albeit I can't open the said application. The screen will just flash.

Let me uninstall, and reinstall...

If you can SSH, there is a new 2.11 version of the app that fixes everything. I do not know why they have not added it to Rock or Cydia yet.

I found version 2.11, and installed it via SSH, but I'm not sure the install is completing, thus StatusNotifier is still not allowing me access to the app. Weird really...

Actually just tried this one. I love it. Much better UI and easier to set up than StatusNotifier. Search Notifier in Cydia. Rock has it but it is not updated. I actually installed it via Rock and then Cydia showed an upgrade.

I actually got another one, 3.0 from a 'source'. But, I will try 'notifier'.

Now I'm looking for a weather app that will allow actual weather icons in teh status bar. At present I have the weather app, but of course that just shows numbers\degrees in the status bar...
