openssh isn't working

when I try to use openssh it doesnt work. the pw n name i use is alpine n root. do i need to restore my phone n rejailbreak it n unlock it? I hope not but its really annoying that I cant save my apps or download them through my computer. some advice pleasE? any other ways? Itunes keeps deleting my jailbroken apps. how can i stop that?

Remember that the iPhone must not be in sleep-mode. Set the auto-lock to never.

itunes doesnt show jailbroken apps and cant remove them, define in what way openssh isnt working?

from the sounds of what you are saying you sync with itunes apps go missing which to me sounds like these are cracked apps installed with something like instalous , i could be wrong but if they are you wont find help here on using priate apps.
