wifi doesn't work

after i jailbroke my iphone my wifi stopped working. Is there anything i can do to fix it without resetting everything?

Is it just not connecting, or is the feature\option not actually coming on?

I say restore as new, and see if it truly works. Maybe it coincidentally broke at the same time...

Restore as new solves alot of issues. But you could start by resetting the networksettings.

jailbreaking contains the word break.

supposedly there is a problem in blackrain that can cause problems with this or possible blacksnow i cant remember which.

if you jailbroke with blackrain before maybe its worth trying the latest redsn0w from the dev team, the new release works with 3.1.2

Gointo Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings, and let the iPhone reboot. Tell me if this has solved your problem. If not, you may have to do what the above posters said, and restore your phone as new before jailbreaking and unlocking.

i reset the iphone and the wifi still doesnt work. now the sim card of both tmobile and att cant be read. what should i do

Did you restore from a backup? If so, restore again BUT do not use any backup. Then jailbreak and unlock if your simcard doesn't work.
