Problem with black & cydia 2g

Ok so i jailbroke my iphone 2g with black rain and now i am trying to install Cydia. Every time I go into blackrain and download and install Cydia it resprings and then i look for the app and i cant find it. Ive tried restoring and download blackrain again and then rejailbreaking it but i still have the same problem, same goes for rock. any help would be greatful

Restore as new (very important) and try again.

i would recommend restoring and trying out the latest redsn0w, seems to work better for some people.

i would also reccomend staying away from rock as it fills your phone with crap and you cant properly remove it without restoring and in some cases starting from fresh (not backup)
