I'm using blackrain to jb a 2G on 3.1.2. When I run it everything happens just fine but no cydia?? I've run bra1n several times but never any cydia... please help!

I'm trying to give this phone to a student on tmobile asap. Blackra1n worked perfectly with my white 3gs. What gives?

Restore and remember to set it up as new. Then try jailbreaking again.

Is that as simple as resetting from the iphone settings/general menu?

No, you should google or search here I am sure it explained. You'll need to USB it to your comp, open iTunes, restore as new. Then run blackra1n. Its a rather simple process, just google.
