How do I get SMS tones to work????

I downloaded a couple of SMS tones through Cydia and wonder how do I get them to work please help 

I enable them through winterboard and still nothing

Do you go into sounds and PLAY each one of them? They are not renamed, so for example, you'll download a sound, and it WILL be there, but it will be called "Tri Tone", or something like that.

Try listening to them and get back to us.

I did exactly what you said I enabled the sound on winterboard then I went to settings - sounds and when I played tri tone it was something else finally got my metal gear ringtone back 
