Firmware Detection Problem?

Cydia and APT are very confused. Installs fail that require a specific firmware - it gives the "the requested modifications cannot be applied..." error, citing that the firmware is the wrong version. Strangely, it fails ALL checks I can find. It's greater than 3.0 and less than 3.0 at the same time.

Looks like the "firmware" package that Cydia should have installed isn't there. It doesn't show up when I enter: dpkg -l

I am running 3.1.2, whether it believes me or not. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Turns out Cydia didn't install the firmware marker. Putting it in manually fixed things.
