jb problrms with red snow

i downloaded the redsnow and iphone1,2_3.0_7A341_restore. after running redsnow when it ask me to browse for the file all i get is no matching files. please help I tried on my vista and windows 7. anyn help I have a new iphone 3g 3.1.2(7D11)

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but there's a new baseband w/ 3.1.2. There is currently no unlock for it.

I tried blackrain but it just says running all night long. I know there is a jailbreak for it. I guess I will just ask a friend at work that has his jailbroken
