can you jailbreak with most recent apple update?

I already have the most recent update from apple and I have read that this changes the baseband. Does that mean if I wanted to try jailbreak that I could not or what??

Also im new to jailbreaking. I have the 3Gs 32GB. What jailbreak tool would I use if I want to go through with it?

Okay, the baseband is only an issue if you want to unlock your phone to a different carrier such as T-Mobile.

If you just want to JAILBREAK, then you could use blackra1n, or Pwnage Tool.

Have you already updated to 3.1.2 through iTunes yet?
