So is there a definite 3.1 jailbreak solution yet?

I'm confused. I've read countless posts about 3.1 jailbreaking, with some saying they have it and others saying to wait. I'm still on 3.0 because I want to jump onto JB 3.1 right when I download the update. Is there a definite way to JB it? I've already chronus and app backup'd my JB apps.

If all your wanting is a jailbreak, then yes, as long as you're on a 2G or 3G. not sure about a 3GS though.

EDIT: As far as I can tell, no, not on 3.1. I have a 3G so not too sure, I have read a few things stating that if you use pwnage tool to do it without upgrading to 3.1 first, then it will create a custom firmware that doesn't change the baseband but gives you the features of 3.1.

yes there is a way for the 2g, 3g, 1git, 2git but not for the 3gs and 2git. look at devs blog, if you have a jb 3g you can make you custom ipsw file to exclude the modem update. so yeah if you have a iphone3g with 3.0, or jb iphone you can.
