Wi-Fi Not Connecting??

Ok so, my iphone says it's connected to my wifi network but up where the wifi symbol is supposed to be it still says 3G. Is anyone else having this issue? If not will i need to restore? Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you! O! Almost forgot, I have a 16GB 3GS which is jailbroken.

Are you sure the router is working properly?

Yesterday I had a problem with my phone and laptop connecting to my router
but the router not distrubting internet. I unplugged the router for a few
seconds and after that it was fine.

If that doesn't work disconnect the Wi-Fi profile from the router and re-add it.

I tried that last time and that worked but neither one would connect but today, my comp is connected...I'll try it once again...maybe its just being fussy...i'll keep you posted! Thanks for the reply
