Help, trying to JB my friends phone.

OK, so I had no problem JBing my 3gs 3.0.1 (twice) on my mac. However, my friend wanted help with a JB on his 3g 3.0.1 on windows xp SP 3. I did everything as directed, but for some reason redsn0w keeps crashing while it is installing the JB. Tried about five times. Phone is working as normal - just no JB.

I'm using:
redsn0w 0.8
and 3g 3.0 IPSW
