3g and EDGE don't work after jailbreaking 3gs

Hi all,

I thought I successfully jailbroke my iPhone 3gs but after I left the house the phone could not establish an internet connection using 3g or EDGE. Wifi works fine. Also, the Cydia icon is not what it's supposed to be. The first time I jailbroke the phone it looked like the AIM icon and now it looks like a Facebook icon. Thanks for any help.
