non responsive power button

I have a 2g 4gb iphone. I bought it from a dealer. The only problem is the power button is non-responsive. It has never been jail broken or unlocked.

Here is my question: How do I unlock my Iphone without a power button?

I know that there are applications out there i can use to replace my power button but each one requires that i be jail broken!!

Please!!! Help!

Sadly it would be very hard to jailbreak becuase you need a power button to boot into DFU to be able to jailbreak.

If your iPhone is under warrenty you can take it to apple store and they will replace it. Make sure it is not unlocked when you take it then or jailbroken.
