Apps problem

I recently jailbroke my 3g iphone with 2.2.1 and I cant launch apps that I got for free legally from the appstore. It will download and install but the icons wont appear on the spring board. When I go into bossprefs to rearange icons I can see the icons for the app and they aren't disabled. Ive tried restoring my iphone and starting from scratch but still nothing. Any ideas?

try respringing your iphone 3g..this happens alot to me also if respringing does not help go to settings-general-reset- and press reset home screen layout. Try respringing your iphone first and WARNING THIS WILL MOVE ALL YOUR ICONS AROUND AND TURN YOUR THEME OFF...but its no big deal just put them back in place and then turn your theme back on in cydia
