iOS Weather App not finding City?

iOS Weather App not finding City

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I am trying to add a city to the stock weather app on iOS 9.2.1 iPhone 6s Plus but no matter what city i type in it comes up saying validating city and then no city found ??

Any reason why this would be ?

Make sure you've given the Weather app permission to use location base services.

Settings >Privacy> location services > scroll to weather> Toggle on

Does it need access to location even if I manuals type the city. Not using current location ?

I have turned on location services and still not finding any city I type in.

Now got it fixed. It just decided to work.
