Updated to IOS9.2last night. Music app malfuntions now as soon as I select a song

I have a wired connection to my 2013 Accord via USB. It allows me to see select Artist then a song, etc, but then it just goes dead. Instead of showing the correct ratio of the album or list, just a very low 1/3 or something like that. Then it locks up. Tried rebooting.

I can hook up espnradio and play the podcast so I know it has something to do with the updated Music App. It gave me bugs.

Logged in to add that, FWIW, I have a 6S. Any suggestions to fix the OP issue?
