Twitter pages keep asking to install the Twitter app?

Whenever I visit a Twitter link in Safari, I get this banner (shown below) asking me to install the Twitter app. The problem is, I already have it installed! Shouldn't this show as the "Open in Twitter" sort of banner just about every other in the world has these days? Has anyone else seen this, or know a fix?

Strange. I'm not seeing that behavior. Have you tried reinstalling your Twitter app and clearing your browser data? That's really all I can think of.

When in Safari, they assume since you are there in Safari, that you do not have the Twitter app. How would they know you also have the app?

It's a very common feature of iOS to show an "Open in (Twitter/Tumblr/etc)" if you have the relevant app installed...see DevilishBanker's post above in this very thread?he or she is visiting Twitter via Safari and is offered an "Open in App" banner. That is what I'm missing.

That's definitely odd. Safari and iOS would know and should flag it. Have you tried uninstalling Twitter and then reinstalling it? What happens if you hit Install?

When I type "Twitter" in the Safari Search bar, I get the same thing.

When I tap "Install", it takes me to the Twitter app in the App Store. Does seem odd. But nothing to get bent out of shape about.
