I read a post on Facebook today from someone who supposedly works for a phone company to not download the OTA update via WiFi and to download from your computer otherwise your digitizer may stop working. Never head or that but was just wondering if people have actually come across that.

Always update via OTA since iOS 6 with no issues. It's just convenient, and I'll never want to go back to iTunes for update any more.

iTunes updates generally provide a cleaner installation but OTA updates have always worked for me. I usually update OTA unless it's a brand new device or a major release (i.e. iOS 8.xx to iOS 9.0).
