Since I upgraded to iOS 9.1 beta 5, and now iOS 9.1 final, the "Reply with Message" setting found in the "Allow Access When Locked" section of Settings > Touch ID & Passcode is no longer working. I can toggle it to "Off" but I can still continue to reply to messages from the lock screen. I'm just trying to understand who else has this issue now.

Note that this setting has to be "Off" in order to prevent replying to messages from lock screen, but as I said, it is not working in iOS 9.1.

Try rebooting your device to see if it'll then work for you.

Sometimes after a reboot it works for a bit, and then it stops working again. I guess I should have added that detail in the OP.

Anybody else use this feature and is seeing the same behavior?

Wow, I am surprised by the lack of replies to this thread. Are there seriously so few people that restrict replying from the lock screen? I would think that this would be a crucial feature in a workplace or a bar. Sometimes you leave your phone on the desk, and you definitely don't want some pesky coworker or friend deciding that it would be fun to reply to your messages for fun. Maybe I'm just inherently more distrusting than others?

That's how it is for mine as well, for a while, but then it stops working. A reboot fixes it sometimes, but then it again stops working.

I'm updating to iOS 9.2 public beta 1 right now. Let's see if that addresses the issue.

Replying to my own thread here. It appears that the issue has been resolved in the latest iOS 9.2 public beta. I do still have a quasi-problem with this feature and BBM, but that's an application issue that I will have to try to bring to developer's attention.
