Once apps get updated when iOS 9 gets the official release, will we still have trouble with some apps on public beta 9.1?

It's always a possibility, but I seriously doubt you will have issues. The issue now is that Apple updates the SDK and adds/modifies some internal system stuff that affect apps - if they change the way a function is called, for example, the apps need to be updated with the new calls and the new SDK. Those kind of changes do not usually occur except with the new .0 versions of iOS.

And when these things change with .0 versions in beta, developers cannot submit updates using the new SDK until Apple starts accepting those updates in preparation for the general availability release of the new iOS version. That is where we are today in the cycle - iOS 9 GA is coming next week and Apple has called for developers to submit their iOS 9-ready apps...

No worse than any of the 9.0 betas for me...and all those were fine.

Yes, my Settings have been opening this way since earlier public iOS 9 betas. I've reported it twice. Cannot believe it hasn't been fixed yet. Does the iOS 9 GM beta have this issue?

Wow updating from 9.0 PB3 to 9.1 PB1 deleted a lot of cache files or something because I have a lot of free space now!

I've been searching all over for solutions to my problem, but no dice.

Ever since I've installed 9.1 beta 1 I've been having issues with the App Store. Nothing loads except for the updates tab section, but even then no new updates populate.

Is anyone else running into App Store issues on 9.1 beta 1? Can't attach any links or images unfortunately.

Try logging out of the AppStore in Settings and reboot... then sign in again.

Considering I had only common issues with previous betas, I decided to update to 9.1. After a day full of notifications to upgrade every time I unlocked my phone and iPad, they both failed twice to update, the iPhone once more, and now both are booting up.

BTW--I'm still very angered by the fact that I enjoy multitasking on the iPad so much. It really needs to become an iPhone 6 feature--6 all the way up to 6S Plus.

    Cmon

**Update: I just noticed my phone rebooted twice. Dang. Brb

I did a hard reset and that worked for me.

Another odd bug. If I change a contact picture, I have to restart my phone to get the change to show.

Just to confirm, if I upgrade to the 9.1 public beta tonight but encounter bugs and need to downgrade, I would downgrade to 9.0 - right? I'm not thinking I would need to downgrade, but I've heard people have had issues with Bluetooth connections, and since I depend upon Bluetooth for my fitness devices, I'd want to keep tabs on that.

Yes. If you upgrade 'tonight' and then discover that you need to downgrade, you will be able to downgrade to whatever is the latest official iOS version for your device.

Put your phone in DFU mode, connect to iTunes and restore.
