Unfortunately so. Now people are aware that it's a possible issue though.

I forgot to make a 9.0 public beta backup prior to updating to this so unless I want to set my phone back up again from scratch I'm kind of married to this.

That said I'm in sales and rely on my phone for work, email, text, calendars etc and I'm having no issues.

To those of you running iOS 9.1 Dev Beta 1, are you able to select "Clear History and Website Data" in the Safari settings or is it grayed out?

It's not frayed out but I don't actually want to try it right now because I have things in my history I need.
Oh okay. Thank you. Mine is grayed out for some reason, but it has not always been grayed out. I'll experiment with it later this afternoon after work. Thanks again...

I just finished installing Dev Beta 2, and so far so good. The option to display or not display contact photos in the Messages app is present as stated above by John Yester and confirmed by itsmerc15.

I'll attempt to download it tonight and restore my phone as new tomorrow. Clean install this time. Need to clear out that other memory.

It sounds like only Dev Beta 2 hit today. Which is why I'm trying to figure out how I got it, as I was in the Public Beta program. iOS 9.1 Developer Beta 5 available-imoreappimg_20150923_221934.jpg

Wow....HAD to have an encrypted backup, probably because of the enterprise app I have. iTunes failed to reinstall all my apps, I had to update 34 of them, and overall, beta 2 is running great. I deleted a few more apps and I have 6.4GB available now on 16GB iPhone.
