Must be a glitch. Dev portal still shows dev beta 5 as current, which is public beta 3. However it was released exactly a month ago. So maybe a standard monthly notice to update.

Again false alarm, next update will be on the 9th when we get the GM. This notice was because the current beta has been running for exactly one month.

I got one at the same exact time as you guys and I'm on the DEV beta--software is up to date

Received it too. Probably something left in the Beta code like everyone has previously said. Since iOS 9 Beta is the smoothest beta software I have ever run it is easy to forget that it is, in fact, a beta build and still has bugs to work out.

Trying to get people sauced up this early? On a Sunday even.

    LOL. Wish I could participate.

One thing I noticed that's different from my iPad on iOS 9 and my iPhone on iOS 8 is that in the mail app when I go to delete an email the iOS 9 now shows photos to show if you are deleting or flagging mail. That seems to be new. Maybe they updated behind the scenes?

Maybe this is just a fluke, and nothing to get panicky about. Weird things happen sometimes. The same thing happened to me today, and I think this is likely because Apple is about to have an event where the final build of iOS 9 will be rolled out to developers.

As long as I've eaten I have a decent alcohol tolerance but this thread would still get me drunk pretty quick. The amount of people not reading the posts is ridiculous.

On my iPhone 5s on Public Beta 3, there was a bug on the new "search screen" where the search box was not centered. I noticed that after the mysterious pop up last night now the bug is gone and system is more fluid and smooth than ever before. I think that Apple did an update behind the scenes. However build nbr remains the same: 13A4325c 😳

I thought the low power mode temporarily reduced power consumption until the device was fully charged. My device is fully charged and the battery icon is still yellow.

You know i was sitting here thinking....that can be dangerous lol... Most update popup messages have a update button or download button and not a close button.

Apple did not push a secret update to your IPhone. That's never happened before, and did not happen this time.

While I do agree with you about Secret Updates, I think that Apple can activate or deactivate things like iTunes Radio or iCloud without having to update the OS as long as that version of the OS can support it.

No...just no... there are a few thing that can be turned on like wifi calling that are handled by carrier settings updates and not full iOS refreshes...and those are at the carrier's discression, not Apple's.

Apple does not push out secret iOS updates. Ever.
