iOS9 Developer Beta 5 now available

Here is what I find funny in my personal experience. The latest beta is on par stability and bug wise than the current release build of iOS 8. Shame on you Apple! Haha.

I would consider it a compliment actually. iOS 9 is supposed to be a bug fix and stability improvement update more so than a feature update.

From the first beta of iOS 9 my keyboard shortcuts were getting erased all the time. With this beta they changed the name to 'Text Replacement' and it doesn't get cleared anymore. I'm happy

Beta 5 has been less glitchy and a lot more stable for me. I have still had to report a few issues like some individual apps not responding promptly and spring board crashes but I am hoping this is fixed with the new iPhone with bigger RAM?!

Well, this is an awesome new bug.


When I swipe down on home screen it doesn't fade the rest of the screen, but I get this

Public Beta 4, iPhone 5S. Cellular data went ballistic. 1,6 GB in three days. iTunes-account is the what causes it. Turned off Wi-Fi-assistance. Problem solved. Anyone else with the Sam experience?

Seriously doubt it, as stable as this seems, there are lots of bugs still around. Specially on search

I sure hope they fix voicemail before the GM. It might be ok on newer hardware, but older hardware like the iPhone 5 still has a lot of issues.

Its close to stable but not stable yet! I still have some bugs that i can deal with but I personally feel that there are still ones that need to be worked out before a GM release.

On the lockscreen the status bar is almost double height like when an app is not optimised for iPhone.

Back to normal when logged in.
