I felt that beta 2 was a stable daily driver, I'm assuming beta 3 will be even better, I still have 2 1/2 hours download time left before I can install it though.

It's been reported widely that the News app is a US only thing at this point.

Battery is good. Many games fail when game center starts up in a game. Each dev will get it worked out eventually but if you play games you may want to wait.

I'm in Canada and I have the News App

The only thing I would say about the News app is this, it did say on set up screen that the ones listed have gone to Apple's format already. So yes, side towards Apple. As more publications format for the app, more balanced news may become available. Just my 2 cents.

Both work for me. Neither appears to use Game Center - which probably explains why.

I don't mind that they chose several news sources for us to get us started with the News app, but once we pick and choose favorites, our favorites should replace anything that was pre-chosen, in my opinion.

I just removed CNN from favorites. I don't remember putting it there. Perhaps For You will now stop showing them.

Wow, beta 3 feels like iOS 8 beta 4. It's running incredibly well on my iPad and 6 plus. Huge upgrade from beta 2 IMO
