Apple didn't announce it at the keynote, but it looks like you can get the iCloud Drive app on iOS now. It's hidden but you can enable it from settings.

Doesn't function properly right now, so looks like it's a work in progress.

I'm not aware of an actual iCloud Drive app. Where in the settings can I unhide the app? I know there's an iCloud Drive option that can be enabled via the iCloud settings because I've had that option enabled for quite some time and I can access my iCloud Drive via 3rd-party apps like Microsoft Word on my iPhone.

Being this is just dev beta 1 a lot can change before public release... and this might be one that does change with an icon on the home screen by release...

My mistake and apologies. I didn't pay attention to the iOS 9 heading above.

yes beta. More screens here: iCloud Drive gets its own app on iOS 9, but it?s hidden by default | 9to5Mac

Or I'm sure Renee will have an article on the front page about this pretty soon as well. I know it was one of his most desired features.

Now that you can toggle this on and off, it would be nice if all stock apps had this ability.. I as many wouldn't need a junk folder on a far off screen

It looks pretty stable to me - I like how I can see all my scanned documents right there + all the other files I have on the drive and open them right there. Looks like Apple is trying to blur the gap between entry level Mac and iOS devices.

Will content in the iCloud Drive app use up iCloud storage space? If so, I doubt I'll use it. I'll stick with Box, Dropbox, and OneDrive for photos and videos.

According to Microsoft's employee Arvind Ram OneDrive is designed to compress user Photos, which could lead to loss of data. You can check his answer at Microsoft own user forum:

That's not something explicit for the final user, that believes the backups are 1:1 copies.

That's just another major issue with OneDrive on top of IOS Backup Feature skipping user photos, as reported here: ICloud Drive app-screen-shot-2015-06-10-1.41.47-pm.png

That screenshot makes it appear that Safari will be able to upload files from iCloud Drive, in addition to the Mail app. That. IS. AWESOME!

I'm not sure that's what that means. Safari is already there in iOS 8.3.
