    Possibly quite a large bug..

Where it usually says my carrier network, it simply says "iPhone" with no signal bars. I can't seem to access my carrier network at all

EDIT: Hard reset fixed the problem

True, it's at your own risk. But I've installed it on my primary device for years.

No news app unless it's hidden in settings like iCloud Drive visibility

I'm assuming it wasn't quite ready so it hasn't been included, it'll make an appearance sooner or later!

Surprised to see the new music app features aren't there yet too

Will more than likely be added to Beta 2 to coincide with release of 8.4 is my guess seeing the service isn't active until the end of june.

Everything seems to be working pretty good. Only think I noticed is that it constantly asks for App Store user name and password when downloading apps regardless if I have the feature turned off. Just noticed that it got turned off again. Hmm lets see if it stays on this time.

I know it's a beta, but the battery life is horrible. The battery percentage is going down while plugged in 😆

Really? Laptop or mains? I'm charging mine on the mains and it seems to be charging like it usually does

How is the new font? I hear it's thinner and harder to read with the low contrast. I'm not going to like that at all. Some may consider it stylish, but I'm tired of not being able to read stuff on this phone. No problems on TapaTalk because I use the dark theme. But the blogs here I have trouble with. It's like people don't want you to read stuff if you don't have 20/20 vision!

Off the computer currently, I'll try the wall charger when I find it 😁. Just got back from holiday.

My first observation is the keyboard. Upper/lower case now displayed on the keyboard keys. IMO, that's a nice touch, and one that's been long overdue.

I also like to see that Apple put the Spotlight/Search screen back where it belongs - swiping left from the first home page.

Also notice that it's actually called "Search" instead of "Spotlight Search".

Pulling down still reveals search though, which is nice

EDIT: Swiping left brings up pro-active, swiping down brings Spotlight, not sure what the point of having spotlight and proactive is

I just discovered that, too. Quite by accident, I swiped down on the screen and voila! Search. (It still doesn't call it "Spotlight", even though it looks incredibly similar to Spotlight Search in iOS 8). And I noticed that Federighi kept calling it "search" and not "Spotlight" in his presentation.
