    They kind of skimmed over it really quickly, but did I hear correctly that they optimized the size of iOS 9 below 2GB? That is freakin' incredible if they did.

    The free space needed for iOS9 will be under 2GB... 1.3GB I think is what they said...

    Hoping that it doesn't increase install time by too much. They either saved that space through some impressive compression, or a more space-efficient install routine.

    Not exactly it just means that the OTA update is smaller giving you less resources to download and install it

    There's not as much on iOS 9 either. Not as much as 7 and 8. But still impressive at 1.3 gb. I won't have to delete stuff. I have 4.1 gb available on my 16 gb 5.
