Did the release of 8.3 fix the period issue on the keyboard?

I have a longer space key now when inputting something in Safari. I know the issue you speak of and it was annoying.

i think its resolved, either that, or my fat thumbs seem to like the new bigger space bar

I especially like it because I usually do a Google search through the URL input field and I never failed to type in a period between words.

Same here, and I am now able to type something to search without pressing the period like before.
