Battery seems to charge a tad bit faster, or maybe I'm imagining it. Animations seem faster as well, gonna test out the battery life tomorrow while at work.

I really wish I hadn't upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 8 as it's become insanely sluggish now. Every incremental update has actually made it worse, yet I do them in the vain hope it will make things better.

I can't afford my iPad becoming so slow, I can't do anything on it as it's the only lifeline I have to the Internet until my UK iphone 6 can become unlocked.

Like others, took less than 15 minutes this morning. Found the  Watch icon.
No errors or issues at all.

Oh yah won't upgrade my iPad 3. I'm keeping it as is until I get a new one. Three years was a fine run for my first iPad.

So far it's been silky smooth and it's working perfect as expected lol. My battery life is better too... Not had much drain like before. I'm happy.

Along with my Air 1ts gen, I also still have my iPad 1st gen on 5.1.1 working. It's obviously a bit slow than expected of course, but it's usable:)

My cousin tried to update via iTunes and it got stuck on a zoomed photo of a brick wall. LOL He thought his phone was bricked.
I don't see anything special about 8.2. I did have to hide that app deep in a nested folder. I didn't want that cr@p on my phone! That should have been an optional app to download. They must have thought that by placing it perm on the screen, that more users would buy the Watch. Not me! I doubt I would pay $50 for one. Just don't need it or want it. I'll be sending Apple feedback about that app.

Is it ok to do a restore from a backup after having a fresh install from iTunes or it's always better to start without any backups and go fresh?

if doing one thing results is a flaky device, do the other... Personal preference really...
